The Night of the Ancient Fires is an annual happening in the archipelago, held on the last Saturday in August. The bonfires were used to guide the seafarers safely ashore. Now the fires are lit along the coastline to remember the old tradition.
To celebrate the day, we are keeping our doors open to the Viking village with free entrance from 5.00 pm to midnight. The dinner buffet in Viking style is at 5.15 pm and 7.00 pm. The 7.00 pm dinner is at present fully booked.
We can take notice of most of food allergies at the dinner, if we get the information in advance. All food is low on lactose. You can write the diets on Additional information under Customer details at checkout.
The Viking Centre serves soft drinks, beer, cider, long drinks and wines. The cost of drinks is not included in the dinner's price, except for still water, coffee and tea.
