Night at Bengtskär lighthouse
The beauty of the rugged rocky island and the magnificent stone lighthouse provide the perfect setting for a stay. In the spring, guests can watch hundreds of birds nest on the island and in late summer on cloudless nights admire the gorgeous starry skies and the Milky Way. Guests staying overnight will enjoy the leisurely evening, the delicious food and the gentle steam of the sauna.
Bengtskär is the tallest lighthouse in the Nordic countries, the tower rising 52 meters above the sea level. The lighthouse was built in 1906 on the southernmost island in the Archipelago Sea.

Gift Card
The full board includes boat trips with other travelers, guiding, meals, accommodation in one room in the lighthouse and evening sauna.
All the six hotel rooms in Bengtskär lighthouse were previously part of the lighthouse keepers’ homes and have sea view. The rooms don't have their own bathrooms.
The full board includes breakfast, dinner, lunch and afternoon coffee/tea. We can take notice of most of mild food allergies at the meals, if we get the diet information well in advance. For example fish, flour and dairy products are handled in the lighthouse's small kitchen daily, and completely fish-free, gluten-free or dairy-free cannot be guaranteed. Meals are served with water. Soft drinks, wine, beer and cider can be bought at the lighthouse.
The boat departs in the morning from Kasnäs in the municipality of Kimitoön. During the summer season, the trip from Kasnäs includes a visit and lunch at Rosala Viking Centre. Alternatively the guests can begin their journey from Rosala island.
Full board is our most popular gift card. It's also possible to buy for example only boat trips and accommodation, in which case other services are paid for by the gift card recipient.
The recipient of the gift can reserve the trip by email, telephone, or by making an inquiry online. If you already know a specific date, we can make a preliminary booking for the gift card. The gift card recipient can then either confirm the preliminary booking or change the day. Early booking is recommended as the demand for rooms is very high. Check room availability
The experience must be booked and taken before the expiry date. Reservation is subject to room availability. The gift voucher can be used only once, and the full value of the voucher is always applied.
Inquiry
An inquiry about the gift card to the Bengtskär lighthouse hotel via the online store is not yet an order, and doesn't bind you to anything.
First, select the validity period, number of people and port of departure from the menus. Then press the Inquire button. Your inquiry goes to the shopping cart.
Press the Preliminary booking button in the shopping cart, and fill in your email address and postal code. Press Continue, and fill in the rest of your contact information. You can write any additional information, questions and wishes on Additional info field. Send your inquiry to us by pressing the Preliminary booking button. We'll send you information about the options and prices via email.
Order
Once you've received the price information from us, you can place an order by replying to our email. In addition to the orderers information, we need the name of the recipient or recipients of the gift.
Delivery and payment
We'll send you the gift card with an invoice in the same letter so you can hand the card over to the recipient yourself. In Finland, the letter will usually arrive in five business days. Delivery time abroad is longer and depends on the country.
