Bengtskär Lighthouse – Autumn Day Trip to Finland's Tallest Lighthouse
Experience Bengtskär Lighthouse in the peaceful autumn season
Bengtskär Lighthouse is one of the most spectacular attractions in Finland and the Archipelago Sea. In autumn, the lighthouse island offers an experience that is impossible to find during the busy summer season: peaceful nature, fresh sea air, migrating birds and the unique atmosphere of the open sea.
Join an unforgettable day trip from Kasnäs to Bengtskär Lighthouse and discover the outer archipelago at its most authentic.
Scenic boat journey through the Archipelago Sea
The excursion begins in Kasnäs and follows a safe, sheltered route through the Hitis Archipelago towards the open sea. The boat trip itself is part of the experience as the beautiful archipelago gradually gives way to dramatic open-sea landscapes before arriving at Bengtskär Lighthouse.
Bengtskär Lighthouse – history, nature and breathtaking views
For more than one hundred years, Bengtskär Lighthouse has guided sailors safely through the Archipelago Sea. Finland's tallest lighthouse is famous for its dramatic history and impressive granite architecture.
During your visit, you will learn about the lighthouse's fascinating past and have the opportunity to climb to the lantern room, where one of Finland's most spectacular sea views awaits.
Autumn is also one of the best seasons for birdwatching. Bengtskär is an important resting place for migrating birds, making it an excellent destination for nature lovers.
